NON-SINGING ACTORS

Marc Taslit has given workshops, classes and private training in Acting and Cold Reading in over 25 cities in the U.S. and in London. He has been a faculty member of the Charles E. Conrad Studio and the Conservatory of Acting in Los Angeles and the Florida Arts School and Hillsborough Community College (adjunct faculty) in Tampa.

Dr. Taslit's state-of-the-art training produces a quantum increase in Ease, Freedom and Vitatlity in the work of every actor, both on stage and on camera.

The training Dr. Taslit offers is purely technical and does not deal with the actor's private life or personal history in any way. Based on the acting-training principles of Master Teachers Sanford Meisner and Charles Conrad, Dr. Taslit's teaching is non-invasive and non-"Method" in both philosophy and practice.

Dr. Taslit's teaching includes:

Acting exercises using spoken texts

Monologue training
Improvisation techniques
Introduction to a life-altering memorization technique called MEMORYMASTERS^TM

Our verbal drills and text exercises lead the actor to the openness and in-the-moment "presentness" necessary for genuine spontaneity. Spontaneous behavior causes the audience to see a genuinely believable person, rather than an actor who is acting out a pre-determined "character".
